Who can apply
Core eligibility
The award is intended for an emerging ocean leader seeking a pathway into scientific, professional or research diving.
- You are an Australian citizen.
- You are an Early Career Ocean Professional (ECOP) — see definition below.
- Your proposed training is with a recognised scuba training institution.
- You can explain how the training and experience will support your career direction.

Show how you would use the training and placement funding within the $10,000 AUD total envelope.

Share what you learn
The successful recipient will provide a written reflection after the award. This helps the community learn from the experience and supports our value of paying it forward.
